Our Office

Welcome to our practice! We take great pride in our long-standing tradition of providing exceptional eye care to the Vestal and Greater Binghamton community.

At our practice, we believe in three fundamental principles that define everything we do. First, always do the right thing for our patients, and never take them for granted. Every patient deserves individualized care and attention. Second, treat our patients like friends—offering courtesy, respect, and kindness. Finally, maintain the highest standards of care by continually learning and improving through study and education. We believe that excellence drives the practice forward, and people will always seek outstanding care.

Over the years, we have been blessed with growth, laughter, meaningful friendships, and a fantastic team of professionals who genuinely love what they do. We look forward to welcoming you to our practice and providing the best eye care possible.

Office Reception

Why is our practice unique?

  • Word-of-Mouth Growth: We don't rely on advertising to attract new patients. Instead, we believe in building long-term relationships based on trust and exceptional service. Our strongest asset has always been our patients, who enthusiastically recommend us to their friends and family.
  • Commitment to Science and Innovation: Our practice is heavily involved in clinical research, partnering with leading contact lens and pharmaceutical companies. This allows us to introduce new products and treatments to our patients before they become widely available. We love sharing the latest advancements in eye care to enhance your vision and overall eye health.
  • Education and Training: We are deeply involved in physician education, working with the family medicine residency programs at United Health Services and Guthrie Lourdes Hospitals . You may see other doctors in our office learning about the latest in eye care technology and treatments. We greatly appreciate our patients’ willingness to allow physicians to observe their care so that we can continue to train the next generation of health care professionals.
  • A Welcoming and Fun Environment: We believe that visiting the eye doctor should be a pleasant experience. Laughter is common in our office because we know that a warm, friendly atmosphere helps everyone feel at ease. Our goal is to make your visit not only beneficial but also enjoyable.

We invite you to join our practice and experience the personalized care that has made us a trusted name in eye health.

Advanced Technology for Superior Care

We are committed to providing our patients with the most advanced eye care technology available. Our investment in cutting-edge equipment allows us to detect, diagnose, and treat eye conditions with greater accuracy and efficiency. Below are some of the state-of-the-art technologies we use and how they benefit our patients:

Carl Zeiss Cirrus-HD OCT

This device functions similarly to an MRI but is specifically designed for the eyes. It provides highly detailed imaging of the optic nerve and macula, allowing for the early detection of conditions like glaucoma and macular degeneration. By identifying these diseases at their earliest stages, we can begin treatment sooner and help preserve your vision.

Topcon KR1-W Wavefront Topographer

This cutting-edge instrument maps the corneal surface in exceptional detail. It helps diagnose and manage conditions such as keratoconus, dry eye syndrome, and astigmatism. Additionally, it plays a crucial role in fitting specialty contact lenses for those with unique vision needs.

Humphrey Perimetry- Field Analyzer II

This advanced visual field testing system assesses peripheral vision, which is essential for detecting and managing glaucoma and other optic nerve disorders. By tracking changes over time, we can adjust treatments to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Humphrey Frequency Doubling Technology (FDT) Perimetry

A rapid and efficient test used to detect early visual field loss, particularly in patients at risk for glaucoma. This tool helps us monitor subtle changes in vision that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Digital Retinal Imaging

This high-resolution imaging system allows us to capture detailed photographs of the retina, aiding in the detection of diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, and other retinal conditions. By documenting changes over time, we can closely monitor your eye health and intervene as needed.

Pachymetry Corneal Ultrasound

This device measures corneal thickness with precision, which is critical for assessing glaucoma risk and evaluating candidacy for refractive surgery procedures such as LASIK.

Huvitz and Canon Auto Refraction

These automated refraction systems provide highly accurate measurements of your refractive error, helping us determine your exact prescription for glasses or contact lenses. They allow for quick and precise vision assessments, reducing the need for lengthy manual testing.

RevolutionEHR Electronic Medical Records System

Our fully digital records system enhances efficiency and accuracy in managing patient information. It ensures secure access to your medical history, test results, and treatment plans, making it easier for us to provide seamless and coordinated care.
